ROMphonix is a content preservation project for obsolete handhelds.
ROMphonix started in October of 2019 as resources for feature phones (also known as "dumbphones") began to disappear from the Internet. Our aim is to archive as many of these resources as we can, while we can.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Flash files, (or "firmwares")
- Software for old handhelds, e.g. flashers, file managers, drivers
- Documents, e.g. service manuals
- Technical specifications
The goal of this project is to be a central knowledge base for old handhelds.
